Climbing the career ladder extends life

If a person is able to quickly climb the career ladder , he will be able to live longer. American scientists came to this conclusion.
In the USA, the so-called American dream is still idealized – the ability of a person from some disadvantaged and poor family to become multi-millionaires or movie stars. Moving up the career ladder in sociology is called vertical or upward mobility, and now researchers have discovered that this factor affects life expectancy.
It has been established that people with low upward mobility live significantly less than those , who is successfully climbing the career ladder. Moreover, the researchers discovered the dependence of socio-economic status on life expectancy very simply – they simply analyzed people's tax returns for several decades, and then compared them with mortality.
It turned out that if some people's incomes increased, it helped they live longer, compared to those who could not boast of such upward mobility. Probably, the matter is not only that in America medicine is paid, and the more money you have, the better you are treated. Some career successes, beyond any doubt, have a beneficial effect on the psyche. And the lower the level of stress due to lack of money, the less likely it is to develop various kinds of chronic health problems.
