“Women who drink the most coffee have a 29% lower risk of developing endometrial cancer than those who drink it little, rarely or never” there is at all”, – this is their summary.
Preliminarily, Japanese doctors analyzed 24 studies that studied the effects associated with the use of coffee. In total, they contained data on more than 699,000 men.
Scientists did not name the specific number of cups of coffee that women should drink. But it is believed that the consumption of the drink should not significantly exceed 400 mg per day – this is about four cups of coffee.
Researchers explain the anti-cancer effect of coffee by the action of its chemical components, including catechins, caffeine, ferulic and coumaric acids. All of them are phenolic compounds that have pronounced antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
