The first spring feeding of a cherry tree has be nitrogenous. Such top dressing is applied before budding, nitrogen promotes their awakening. Any nitrogen fertilizers are suitable, but it is better to use ammonia.
Dosage depends on the age of the tree. Up to 4 years – 15 g of ammonium nitrate per square meter, from the 5th year of life – 20 g per square meter. m.
On acidic soils, it is better to use calcium nitrate, it slightly alkalizes the soil.
