Colon cancer: scientists have named the age at risk for the disease

British scientists claim that men under the age of 50 are at a higher risk of developing intestinal cancer than older generations.

According to experts, the reason for this is poor nutrition and metabolic problems. As the study shows, in the last 10 years, cases of colon cancer have increased by 1.8%, and rectal cancer rates among the age group from 30 to 39 years are increasing by 1.4% per year.

In particular, in the UK, rectal cancer is diagnosed annually in more than 2,500 people under the age of 50.

Therefore, doctors suggest lowering the age of screening for bowel cancer.

Doctors also recommend conducting timely examinations to prevent a dangerous disease.
