Cooks told how you can replace milk in mashed potatoes: it will be even tastier
Mashed potatoes are considered one of the most popular and favorite dishes of both adults and children. At the same time, many cooks believe that it is impossible to achieve a delicate puree structure without using milk.
But what if in the middle of cooking you find that there is no milk in the refrigerator?
It's okay, milk can easily be replaced with other ingredients that are likely to be found in every refrigerator.
One such ingredient is sour cream or cream of any fat content.
Please note: sour cream has a thicker consistency and higher fat content compared to milk, so if you decide to use this alternative to milk, do it this way.
Transfer 50-100 grams of sour cream into a suitable container, then add a little butter to it and pour in the hot broth left after cooking the potatoes.
Mix all the ingredients and after that you can add them to the potatoes, so the sour cream will be evenly distributed.
If there is cream, use it the same, previously diluted as described above.
