Cutlets without meat are a hit of the new reality: inexpensive, filling, tasty

Potato patties are affordable and you can feed the whole family with them. Especially if you serve them with sour cream or some kind of sauce. Today on our menu are potato cutlets with puree. And also a simple recipe for gravy from dried mushrooms that you can prepare at home.
Ingredients
- Fresh potatoes – 6-8 medium root vegetables;
- Butter – 50 grams;
- Egg – 1 pc.;
- Wheat flour – 3 tbsp. spoons;
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Breadcrumbs – 100 grams;
- Vegetable oil – 3-4 century spoons.
Preparation:
1․ Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into large pieces. Boil potatoes until ready in salted water.
2․ Drain the water and use a pestle to make a puree with the addition of melted butter. Season with salt and pepper.
3․ Make meatball mass: mix mashed potatoes with an egg in a large bowl, then add flour and mix everything well with a spoon. Form small patties of any shape (but flat ones are easier to fry) and roll them in breadcrumbs (or flour).
4․ Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the potato patties for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Mushroom gravy for potato patties
Mushroom gravy from any dried mushrooms: soak the mushrooms for a few minutes before cooking the patties after 20 minutes, pass through a meat grinder.
Add broth from the “lock”, boil in a saucepan for 5 minutes, thicken with fried flour.
Fry chopped onions and garlic separately and add the mixture to the mushrooms . Stir.
Let it cool completely and add a spoonful of sour cream.
