Today, the Orthodox Church honors the memory of Saint Ambrose of Milan. He was one of the best preachers of Christianity, who left behind many theological works and enjoyed universal love thanks to his miracles. The relics of the saint after his death were placed in a church built on his orders. Later, the Basilica of St. Ambrose was built on this site, where the holy relics are still kept.
