Ingredients for the dish
Prepare the following list of ingredients:
- medium-sized zucchini — 1 pc.;
- flour — 2-3 tbsp.;
- egg — 1 pc.;
- kefir — 100 ml;
- onion — 1 pc.;
- soda — 0.5 tsp.;
- dill, salt, pepper, garlic — to taste;
- vegetable oil.
Cooking process
Grate the young zucchini and squeeze out the excess juice. Pour the mixture into a sieve, press down lightly to make it more effective.
Chop the greens and onion. Mix with the grated zucchini. Next, according to the plan, you need to add kefir, soda and an egg to the mixture. This is the base that needs seasonings. The recipe calls for garlic and pepper. If you have seasonings for vegetables, you can also add them. It can be oregano, parsley, basil, nutmeg, allspice. This is a game of flavors, so choose at your own discretion.
The flour needs to be sifted. It is recommended to add to the mixture in small portions. Watch the consistency. It should be moderately thick.
Zucchini fritters are baked in a well-heated frying pan, over low heat and in vegetable oil. After frying, transfer them to a paper towel to remove any remaining oil. Zucchini fritters taste great with sour cream or your favorite sauce. It is very tasty if you add fresh dill, garlic and salt to the sour cream.
