Delicious casserole with pumpkin and mushrooms

Imagine a dish that combines the sweet tenderness of pumpkin and the rich aroma of mushrooms , creating a real gastronomic creation. Casserole with pumpkin and mushrooms is a perfect autumn dish. Easy preparation, a minimum of ingredients – and you will get real culinary pleasure.

Pumpkin is a real superfood. It is rich in fiber, vitamin A and antioxidants, making it good for the heart, immune system and vision. In combination with mushrooms, which contain protein and B vitamins, this dish becomes not only tasty, but also nutritious.

To prepare, you will need:

  • 500 g of pumpkin
  • 300 g of mushrooms (champignons or any other)
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g of hard cheese
  • 200 ml of cream (15-20%)
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Fry the mushrooms over high heat, so that they do not release too much liquid. This will help preserve their texture and add rich flavor.

Fry the pumpkin cubes until soft and set aside. Cut the mushrooms and fry together with the onion in heated oil until golden.

In a baking dish, put a layer of pumpkin, mushrooms, pour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°C until a golden crust forms.
