Delicious sauerkraut recipe

The sauerkraut season is in full swing, so if you haven't had time to prepare this healthy delicacy yet, hurry up. Read the recipe in detail, cook and enjoy.

Preparation

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cabbage
  • 2 carrots

Marinade:
1 l of water
1 tbsp. l. without top salt
3 tbsp. honey

Preparation:

Shred the cabbage, grate the carrots. Prepare the marinade: add salt to boiled water, when it cools down a little – add honey and stir until completely dissolved.
Knead the cabbage well with your hands and put in a jar.

Pour cold marinade and leave to stand at room temperature for 2-3 days. On the 3rd day, make holes in the cabbage all the way to the bottom to release the bitterness. After that, you can taste the cabbage. Put it in a cold place for storage. Enjoy!
