Dermatologist assures of the rejuvenating properties of one hot drink

Smoothness and youthfulness of the skin largely depend on proper care. One of the important stages is hydration, both external and internal. In addition to water, dermatologist Crystal Dinopol advises paying attention to an anti-aging hot drink that is available to everyone. This is green tea, which helps the skin look younger.

Regular consumption of green tea helps reduce swelling due to caffeine and its diuretic effect. Tannins and catechins increase the skin’s immunity and resistance to ultraviolet radiation when combined with daily sunscreen application. This hot drink also contains substances that regulate sebum production and reduce inflammation on the face.

According to the dermatologist, green tea is rich in vitamin B2, which makes the skin elastic. It helps maintain healthy collagen levels in the skin.

“If you decide that green tea is not your thing at all, you can try adding lemon and honey to it to get used to the bitter taste. Both of these products are also known antioxidants that improve skin health,” said Crystal Dinopol.

It is recommended to drink three to five cups of this hot drink daily to get the maximum benefits from it. It should be borne in mind that it is better not to drink green tea in the morning on an empty stomach to avoid digestive problems and acid reflux, the dermatologist noted. In addition, green tea is often one of the ingredients in anti-aging care products.
