A healthy eating expert named five advertised “diet” products that ruin your diet.
Marketers skillfully come up with advertisements that involuntarily force people to buy even products they don't need. Specialists lure customers with bright packaging and come up with loud slogans. But they are not always true.
“Some products that advertisers praise so much do not actually help you lose weight, but on the contrary, make the process even more difficult,” explains the nutritionist.
Here is a list of healthy products, according to the specialist, that you should not eat on a diet:
Yogurts with zero percent fat content. Manufacturers compensate for the lack of fat with sugar and other sweeteners.
Bread. These products are mainly made from white flour, margarine and sugar. In general, the composition is the same as that of a flour-sugar bun. Real diet breads should be made from cereals and whole grains.
Cheesecakes. They have almost no cheese, and only 100 grams of the product has about 400 kcal.
Juice from the package. One package can contain about 60 grams of sugar. Such a drink is definitely not suitable for losing weight.
Honey. Many people believe that sugar is a great substitute for honey. But, in fact, it is also no less high-calorie. Therefore, you should not be led by advertising for diet products that contain honey.
The nutritionist does not say that you should immediately give up these products. It is simply important to take into account their calorie content and correctly calculate your diet.
