Do not skip meals. It is more dangerous to health than we thought

A new study suggests that skipping one of your three standard meals a day could have serious consequences.
The study involved 24,011 American adults aged 40 and older. It turned out that just one meal a day was associated with a higher risk of overall mortality. Skipping breakfast was associated with a higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease, and skipping lunch or dinner was associated with a higher risk of death from all causes.
There were also problems in those who ate all three meals, but not spaced them out enough. Eating two meals 4.5 hours apart was also shown to be associated with an increased risk of death from all causes.
