If you sow a lot flowers in the summer cottage, then it should be marigolds. They not only create beautiful and dense borders, decorate, but can also become an effective fertilizer to improve the soil.
What to do with marigolds
After the flowering season is over, collect the seeds so that you have enough planting material for the next season. The rest of the plants must be uprooted, chopped and buried in the soil.
Cloves are able to effectively fight nematodes, so the land on the site will be rehabilitated using an environmentally safe method without the use of chemicals.
The green part of the plant has a high content of phytoncides. They ensure a reduction in the risk of gray rot and many other fungal diseases.
Cutting and digging with the soil should be done before the onset of cold weather. To speed up the rotting process, pour a solution of any drug on top of the soil to increase biological activity. Lilies, strawberries, and potatoes can be planted on such a bed in the spring, in accordance with the rules of crop rotation.
