Doctor reveals dangers of antipyretics for the liver

According to the toxicologist, “harmless” antipyretics can seriously harm the body if used incorrectly.

The doctor revealed the danger of antipyretics for the liver. The doctor said in an interview that such drugs can have a toxic effect on the organ. Normal paracetamol can be dangerous in this regard.

“Uncontrolled intake of antipyretics during illness, especially paracetamol, causes enormous harm to the liver, literally destroying the organ,” said the doctor.

The doctor emphasized that when taking paracetamol, it is important to adhere to the correct dosage – its amount should not exceed 2 grams per day.

The doctor also drew attention to the fact that in essence any medication should be taken as prescribed by a doctor.

Self-prescription of any medication invariably increases the risk of complications and deterioration of the general condition – even these drugs are well-known and seem absolutely safe.
