Doctors debunk popular myths about cosmetics

Cosmetics are popular with both men and women, and of completely different ages. At the same time, a large number of products have become overgrown with various speculations and rumors during their existence. Some popular myths about cosmetics have been debunked by doctors.

According to experts, the opinion that expensive creams and other products give a better effect is not always true. There are many worthy analogues on the market that allow you to get no less effect, at less expense. Another popular myth is that balms and masks can restore damaged hair. Doctors say that to get the effect, you need to not only use the right products, but also change your diet.

Experts also claim that the popularity of anti-cellulite creams is greatly exaggerated. Cosmetics are unlikely to be able to overcome the hated “orange peel” on the skin, but a proper diet and exercise can do it.

Doctors do not recommend getting carried away with cosmetics if it does not suit your skin type, and experts advise treating acne not with creams and lotions, but with special therapy and only with a professional. Experts also warn against using folk remedies, the effect of which is quite questionable.
