Doctors evaluated the consequences of a single overeating for the body

Doctors tried to find out what the human body is in danger of even a one-time binge. The conclusions were drawn by experts based on the results of a study conducted with the participation of volunteers.
The experiment involved 14 men, whose ages ranged from 22 to 37. First of all, they had to eat the amount of pizza that would ensure a feeling of satiety. On average, it was about 1500 kcal, that is, a little less than one large pizza.
Other times, it was necessary to absorb so much food that there was a feeling that they were about to “burst”. Then the study participants managed to consume about 3,000 kcal, and some even 4,800 kcal, which corresponds to 2.5 large pizzas. This indicates that a person feels satiety when his stomach is about half full.
After the experiments, blood tests were taken from the volunteers. As a result, it turned out that when overeating, the level of sugar and fats in the blood increased, but slightly. This situation is observed with normal metabolism. At the same time, if you eat more than you need, the individual feels less energetic and sleepy, and hunger does not wake up for another 4 hours.
