Recommendations on foods that are suitable as snacks for alcohol were made by cardiologist Herman Gandelman, immunologist Andriy Prodeus, and ophthalmologist Mikhail Konovalov, who appear on a TV program about health. In particular, Dr. Gandelman noted that lemon is an excellent snack.
The cardiologist explained that under the influence of citric acid, the absorption of alcohol is reduced and toxins that enter the blood are neutralized.
In turn, immunologist Prodeus recommended a snack in the form of dark dark chocolate. The doctor stated that this product contains a lot of niacin (vitamin B3), which is able to neutralize and neutralize toxins.
Ophthalmologist Konovalov added that when drinking alcohol, you should drink water: for each dose of alcohol – a glass of water.
The specialist explained that drinking water prevents dehydration, which often occurs when drinking alcohol, and also helps prevent alcohol abuse, hangover syndrome, and headaches.
