Medics have described the first signs of the development of multiple sclerosis in humans. According to representatives of the US National Center for Biotechnology Information, about 2.5 million citizens worldwide are faced with this problem.
Women are approximately three times more likely to encounter multiple sclerosis than men. The difference between the problem and senile sclerosis is that it manifests itself at a young age. Immune cells destroy the fibers of the spinal cord and brain, which entails a violation of the conduction of impulses throughout the body. Among the first symptoms of the disease are periodic numbness in the extremities, a feeling of weakness and constant fatigue, and also possible disturbances in coordination of movements.
On the background of multiple sclerosis, irreversible consequences may develop, up to paresis and paralysis. There may be several reasons for the development of the problem, including hereditary factors, vitamin D deficiency, frequent stress, and not the least role is played by ecology and bad habits.
