Doctors named fats that help prolong life
Everyone wants to live long and without diseases. The basis of a healthy lifestyle is proper nutrition. Contrary to common misconceptions, it should contain a fairly large amount of fat.
Experts from the American Heart Association point out that insufficient consumption of certain fats increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases by 8%.
“Healthy” fats include polyunsaturated fatty acids and monounsaturated fatty acids. It is recommended to use foods rich in them instead of saturated fats and trans fats.
As a rule, harmful fats are found in baked goods, red meat, cheeses, butter and fast food. It is recommended to limit the consumption of such products in food in favor of sea fish, vegetables, nuts and vegetable oils.
