Possible negative consequences of afternoon sleep are a feeling of heaviness, flatulence and constipation. Experts advise to relax with a book or watch a movie after dinner.
Drinking tea after a meal is also not advised by doctors. They claim that this drink can interfere with the absorption of some substances and minerals, for example, iron. In addition, tea complicates the digestion of proteins and fats.
Therefore, it is recommended to drink it at least after an hour break. This drink can be replaced with a herbal infusion that helps digestion. For this, it is recommended to use mint, fennel, cumin, thistle, frankincense, nettle or chamomile.
Exercising after dinner also hides danger, say experts. Excessive activity and exercise can cause indigestion and pain, and over time – disrupt the work of the digestive system. After eating, it is better to prefer a quiet walk.
