For according to experts, a person can suffer from chronic inflammation throughout his life, it negatively affects the functions of the immune system, weakens health, increases susceptibility to various diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer.
Speaking of what helps to protect the body from inflammation, doctors named foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants – fatty fish, sauerkraut, cod liver, as the main protectors in this regard. Rosemary and thyme are also very useful – they protect blood vessels from damage caused by sugar, which experts consider one of the key provocateurs of inflammation.
