Doctors told how the color of the tongue changes before a heart attack
Symptoms of a heart attack are usually easy to recognize, but in some cases the signals of a fatal condition are disguised as other, not the most serious, problems. Experts told how to detect the approach of a dangerous disease by the color of the tongue.
Heart attacks occur when the blood supply to the heart is blocked or interrupted by congestion fatty substances in coronary arteries. According to a study published by the European Society of Cardiology, the symptom of the disease can be detected on the patient's tongue. Experts say that a yellow coating on the tongue is a warning sign.
The study was conducted by Dr. Tianhui Yuan from Guangzhou Hospital of Chinese Medicine University. She claimed that patients with chronic heart failure have a “completely different” language than those without heart problems. “Normal tongues are pale red with a pale white coating,” she added.
