Caffeine is the most popular natural stimulant in the world. It is able to overcome the blood-brain barrier and stimulate the central nervous system. If you drink an invigorating drink in moderate quantities, it has a positive effect on a person's health.

Researchers conducted a large meta-analysis, the results of which were shared with the publication Circulation: Heart Failure. Experts found that volunteers who drink a lot of coffee had a lower risk of heart failure. According to the results, it became clear that there was a reduction in the risk of a dangerous disease by 5-12% compared to those who thought it would be better to give up the drink.

Coffee is considered a natural plant-based drink, for this reason it contains useful antioxidants, in particular, polyphenols. They are able to reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals. At the same time, antioxidants help to improve the condition of the heart. They provide protection, improve the functioning of blood vessels, increase good cholesterol, have a positive effect on the availability of nitric oxide for blood vessels, reduce the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) and inflammation.

Experts conducted a study of 53 scientific papers that evaluated long-term coffee consumption and its effect on cardiovascular diseases. It turned out that people who drank 3-5 cups of coffee a day had a more than 10% reduced risk of cardiovascular disease compared to volunteers who drank 1-2 or more than 6 cups of the drink.
