Researchers conducted a large meta-analysis, the results of which were shared with the publication Circulation: Heart Failure. Experts found that volunteers who drink a lot of coffee had a lower risk of heart failure. According to the results, it became clear that there was a reduction in the risk of a dangerous disease by 5-12% compared to those who thought it would be better to give up the drink.
Coffee is considered a natural plant-based drink, for this reason it contains useful antioxidants, in particular, polyphenols. They are able to reduce inflammation and neutralize free radicals. Experts conducted a study of 53 scientific papers that evaluated long-term coffee consumption and its effect on cardiovascular diseases. It turned out that people who drank 3-5 cups of coffee a day had a more than 10% reduced risk of cardiovascular disease compared to volunteers who drank 1-2 or more than 6 cups of the drink.
