The doctors told how can you distinguish SARS from an allergic reaction of the body. According to experts, with allergies, a person can sneeze several times in a row.
Experts have identified five types of viruses: adenoviruses, metapneumoviruses, bocaviruses, rhinoviruses and parainfluenza viruses. If they get into the body, they can provoke a runny nose and sneezing, for this reason they can be confused with allergies. Bocaviruses are manifested in nasal congestion, cough, high temperature and rash. The same symptoms can be found in people with allergies.
In addition to other symptoms, hoarseness of the voice may occur with parainfluenza. This information was shared by an allergist and an infectious disease specialist. But with ARVI, a person can experience high body temperature, weakness, sore throat, cough and runny nose. Redness and lacrimation may be present. If there is only sneezing and the absence of other complaints, doctors can suspect the presence of an allergic manifestation.
“The main symptom of allergy can be so-called volley sneezing, when a person makes 2-3 sneezing movements. If the patient has not been in contact with an infected patient, then the allergic process manifests itself,” said the doctor.
It is worth recalling that the professor previously reported which drugs to combat allergic reactions are not recommended to be taken while driving. The expert reported that the list includes diphenhydramine, diazolin and suprastin, as they can be dangerous when driving a car.
