Doctors told who should not eat plums
The height of the plum season is marked at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. These fruits have useful properties, doctors said. However, there are people who cannot eat these fruits.
Patients suffering from diabetes should avoid eating plums. The same applies to people who need to lower their blood sugar. Men and women who want to lose extra pounds should also refrain from eating plums. Nursing mothers should not eat these fruits due to the danger of loose stools in infants. In case of rheumatism and gout, it is undesirable to include these fruits in the diet, the same applies to cases of increased acidity of the stomach.
Plums, when consumed by children in large quantities, can cause bloating and diarrhea. Patients suffering from diseases of the urinary and gall bladder or kidneys are not recommended to use these fruits due to possible exacerbation of the disease.
