Eating bananas every day can be harmful to your health

Regular consumption of bananas contributes to the fact that the body receives too many carbohydrates, feels increased hunger, and is at risk of gaining excess weight.
Bananas need to be eaten correctly. They are devoid of fat and protein, while containing a lot of carbohydrates. If you eat a banana, you will soon feel a strong feeling of hunger – this is facilitated by fluctuations in sugar levels, which first increase and then decrease.
Thus, daily consumption of bananas is associated with the risk of excess carbohydrates in the diet and appetite disorders, food abuse, and excess weight. Nutritionists recommend eating bananas in combination with sources of protein and healthy fats: for example, with cheese or peanut butter. This will protect against sharp fluctuations in blood sugar levels and their unpleasant consequences.
In addition, bananas can harm the health of the digestive system. In these fruits, a large amount of fiber combines with natural sugar alcohol – in some people, the body reacts to such a mixture with bloating, flatulence, and a large amount of gases.
Another disadvantage of daily consumption of bananas is an excess of potassium, which they contain in high concentrations. Excessive potassium is harmful to the kidneys. People who already have kidney problems should be careful when eating bananas, and avoid overdoing it.
It is also important to be aware of the ability of bananas to interact with medications and inhibit the action of some components of medications.
“Two types of medications that should not be combined with bananas are ACE inhibitors and the diuretic spironolactone.”
