Eating chocolate makes people happy

Good news for all so-called chocoholics – consumption of only 10 g of dark chocolate three times a day day will make us happier. This was shown by a study by Korean scientists from Seoul National University.
Many of us reach for something sweet when we are in a bad mood, and the most common choice in this case is chocolate. Indeed, it is able to raise the mood, as after its consumption, the brain begins to release hormones of happiness.
And now a Korean study confirmed that just a few pieces of dark chocolate can really affect our mood.
Researchers found that when healthy adults consumed 30g of 85% dark chocolate each day, they were happier, compared to their peers who ate chocolate with less or no cocoa beans.< /p>
30g is about a third of a standard 100g bar of chocolate that you can buy in a supermarket. According to the researchers, the jump in mood is associated with microbial changes in the intestines due to the consumption of chocolate.
At least, this is what the stool tests showed. However, this benefit was only found after eating 85 percent chocolate, and not at all the popular varieties of milk chocolate, which should be eaten very sparingly.
Chocolate products with a high content of cocoa beans are beneficial because they have less sugar. , fat and other ingredients such as palm oil and dyes. Cacao beans are rich in fiber, iron and phytochemicals – the most powerful chemical components from plants that support the immune system and reduce the risk of ailments such as cancer, dementia, arthritis, heart disease and strokes.
