The electricity tariff will not be reviewed until May 1 next year. That is, until the end of the autumn-winter period of 2024/2025, the tariff for electricity for household consumers will not be revised,” the document that the parliamentarian published on Facebook says.
We will remind you that the International Monetary Fund hinted that it is necessary to lift the moratorium on price increases, but there are no official documents yet.
At the same time, the memorandum with the International Monetary Fund was updated earlier. It states that aid in the amount of 8 billion euros will be provided to Ukraine, but one of the clauses stipulates that it is necessary to increase gas and electricity tariffs for the population.
As of June 1, electricity tariffs have increased in Ukraine. Those who use boilers, actively use the cooking surface and other electrical devices will have to pay the most.
Now the average payment for electricity will be UAH 734.4 instead of the previous UAH 448.8. This is due to the increase in the tariff from UAH 2.64 to UAH 3.32 per 1 kWh.
