Evaders risk being left without driver's licenses from July 16

В From July 16, 2024, a mechanism for prosecuting conscripted men who have not updated their military registration data at the TCC in a timely manner will begin to operate in Ukraine.
This means that drivers who have violated the rules of mobilization , risk being left without driver's licenses.
On May 18, 2024, a new law on mobilization and military registration entered into force in our country. Within 60 days, all men between the ages of 18 and 60 must update their military registration data at the TCC. This can be done not only at the TCC, but also at the Centers for the provision of administrative services and in the “Rezerv+” application. But with the availability of updated data in the “Rezerv+” application, those who want to be registered, receive a reservation, the right to deferment, have received a referral to the VVK or a mobilization order still need to come to the TCC.
July 16 In 2024, the TCC will begin sending mass summonses to the known addresses of conscripted men. More precisely, these will not be subpoenas, but so-called requirements for updating military registration data.
If the conscript does not update his military registration data in a timely manner, the police must deliver him to the TCC. If it is impossible to do this for some reason, then temporary restrictions will be imposed on the violator of the mobilization rules. So, for example, he will not be able to drive a vehicle. He will be deprived of this right by court decision.
Once the conscript has updated his military registration, he will be able to drive again. However, not immediately. First, the head of the TCC must write a corresponding statement to the court. And only after that the court will make a decision. This process is unlikely to be quick.
There are exceptions to this rule. According to the new law, not all those who evade mobilization can be temporarily deprived of their driver's license. An exception is made for citizens if this ban will deprive them of their main legal source of livelihood, as well as for citizens with disabilities and for citizens who are dependent on disabled persons I, II or children with disabilities.
The new law on mobilization and military registration, which entered into force on May 18, 2024, also regulates the issue of military transport duty. For the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a car may be seized from individuals if they own several of them. A prerequisite is that the car must have good off-road characteristics so that it can be used on the front or in the front-line area. When removing TK for the needs of the Armed Forces, a corresponding act of acceptance and transfer is drawn up. It contains all the necessary information, including the estimated value of the vehicle.
After demobilization is announced, all seized vehicles must be returned to their owners. If the vehicle is destroyed, the owner has the right to monetary compensation (in the amount of the estimated value specified in the act of acceptance and transfer).
Recall that earlier it became known that Ukrainians will be checked according to the State Register of Sanctions during the re-registration of cars. since the Cabinet of Ministers has made relevant changes to the Procedure for state registration (re-registration), deregistration of cars and other vehicles.
