How to grow

Choose a root with developed buds in the store. At home, cut it into several parts so that each one has a bud. Treat the slices with activated carbon. Place in a container with soil and water.

To create a greenhouse effect, place the container in a bag. In a few weeks, you will see that the roots have sprouted and the first sprouts have appeared. Now keep growing to see exotic blooms eventually. Ginger can grow up to 100 cm tall.

The pot with ginger should be in a warm room with sufficient lighting. Water moderately. The soil should be moist, but not wet. In addition, watering is reduced in October and November. Before each subsequent moistening, the soil must dry. When you see that the stems and leaves have wilted, you can dig up the roots. Dry it and store it in the refrigerator or in a dark cabinet.
