Tips from experienced gardeners
Pears need autumn feeding. Depending on weather conditions, it can be applied even in November if the region is warm. For cooler regions, where there may be frosts in November, it is better to carry out the work in October.
To begin with, the tree is pruned, treated from diseases and pests, and then fertilizing is carried out. This is done with the help of organic matter.
Pear responds well to compost, peat, humus, urea, superphosphate, potassium salt. The top dressing scheme for a pear is as follows: 6 kg of humus, 40 g of superphosphate, 300 g of wood ash. All this is applied per 1 sq.m. The amount of fertilizer is calculated for an adult tree.
