Corn is planted in warm soil. it is better to do it in early May. In cold soil, corn will sit for a long time and will not emerge.
Corn is a sun-loving plant, so choose a sunny place. It grows well in light loose soil.
Before planting, it is advisable to fertilize the ground with wood ash or humus. Corn is undemanding in care. It should be planted at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other. It is advisable to put 2-3 pieces of seeds in the hole.
Good neighbors for corn are cucumbers, tomatoes and beans. But it is not recommended to plant it next to carrots, beets and potatoes.
