Slavic cuisine simply cannot be imagined without two important attributes – red borscht and appetizing lard. Not everyone wants to buy a ready-made product, since it is more common to salt lard based on its taste preferences. We offer you a simple method that will allow you to enjoy the perfect product.
What ingredients must be prepared:
- fat;
- salt;
- paprika;
- chili pepper (ground).
How to cook:
First of all, it is worth noting that the amount of spices and salt you have to choose independently, because someone wants to make lard more aromatic and spicy (more paprika), and someone likes spicy food (chili).
We start salting the lard. You can not be afraid to overdo it: it is known that it is impossible to oversalt the product.
We cover and send it to the freezer for 3 days.
Then we take it out, wash it with water, dry it with a paper towel and rub it with a whole ground chili and paprika.
We hide the lard in parchment and send it to the refrigerator for 2 days.
In addition to the fact that this is an incredibly tasty product, it should be eaten without fail by those who want strengthen the immune system.
