First of all, it is necessary to reduce the amount of “bad” LDL cholesterol, which accumulates in the form of plaques on the walls of blood arteries. Over time, these cholesterol deposits grow, which makes it difficult for a sufficient amount of blood to pass through the arteries. Sometimes cholesterol plaques break away from the walls and form a clot: if it clogs itself, a heart attack or stroke can occur.

Experts say that although high cholesterol can be inherited, it is often the result of an unhealthy lifestyle. To combat its excess and the formation of cholesterol clogs in blood vessels, experts recommend including the following products in the diet in the absence of contraindications.
