Scientists determined that in the diet of long-lived people often includes certain products, including inexpensive and accessible ones.
One of the products that help to achieve longevity, scientists call hazelnuts: it contains high concentrations of vitamins E and B6, it effectively helps maintain brain activity, prevents age-related fading of cognitive function. Speaking about the available foods from the diet of long-lived people, scientists single out whole grains.
“Whole grain products improve the state of intestinal microflora, help control blood sugar and balance blood pressure, which makes them useful for heart diseases.” – cites experts.
Experts also pay general attention to such a product as chickpeas, a representative of the legume family.
“Chickpeas contain vitamins A, C, E, K, vitamins of group B, as well as the minerals phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium. It accelerates the recovery of cells and tissues,” specialists state.
Black beans have added to the list of longevity products compiled by them. The composition of this product contains many vitamins of group B, which provide the brain with long-term activity, and such an “anti-aging” component as vitamin A, minerals, fiber. Eating black beans is associated with energy conservation, good digestion, and low blood cholesterol.
