Five cereals that everyone thinks are healthy for no reason

Doctors advise people to eat cereals for breakfast. But among these nutritious and healthy dishes, there are impostors that can harm your health.

Wheat porridge is on this list. But nutritionists consider it the most harmful among the others because of the small amount of amino acids that live in millet proteins. They contain compounds necessary for the growth and strengthening of muscle mass. But there are very few of them left in wheat porridge. Therefore, it is better to choose other cereals, such as spelt or bulgur.

– Rice porridge also contains less useful substances than is commonly believed. The fact is that most often people prepare it from polished rice. After processing, it contains little fiber and vitamins. Of course, such porridge will not harm your health, but you will get almost no benefit from it, – says nutritionist Olga Kuznetsova.

Cooked crushed oatmeal also does not bring any benefit. After grinding, there is little left in it. Therefore, it is better to eat porridge made from whole flakes.

Muesli in combination with flakes, nuts, fruits and berries also brings almost no benefit. They contain a lot of sugar, which makes this mixture very high-calorie, and therefore harmful to the figure.

In addition, semolina porridge is of little benefit. It contains little protein and vitamins. But it contains a lot of starch, which is not good for obese people. Even for babies, the benefits of semolina are minimal. The fact is that the complex mucopolysaccharides contained in this porridge are difficult to digest and inhibit digestive activity by reducing the intensity of intestinal villi movement.
