Many of us often cover our mouths with our hands when sneezing, drink a glass of water immediately after waking up, and sleep in the car during a long trip. But all of these things are actually harmful to our health.
You should not cover your mouth and nose with your hand when sneezing. Otherwise, bacteria and viruses will remain on your skin for quite a long time: up to three hours. At the same time, they can enter the body through the eyes or pass to people around you. In addition, covering your nose and mouth with your hand creates strong pressure on the eardrum, which has a bad effect on the condition of your ears.
When sneezing, you should cover your mouth and mouth with a tissue, and immediately throw it away. If you don't have time to pull out the tissue, at least pull the sleeve of your clothes over your palm before doing so. And if you covered your nose and mouth with your hands while sneezing, be sure to wash your hands.
Picking your teeth after eating is also harmful. This can damage your tooth enamel and gums, and can introduce infection into your mouth. You need to remove food debris with dental floss. And use this floss carefully: do not touch the soft tissue with it, so as not to accidentally damage it.
You should not drink a glass of water in the morning. Otherwise, all the food debris, bacteria, etc. will get into your body. Drink water only after brushing your teeth. At the same time, on an empty stomach, you need to swallow it gradually, in small portions.
If you sleep in a car, you risk getting a cervical vertebrae dislocation. This can happen when the car brakes sharply or when it shakes. If you still decide to take a nap, lean on the side of the seat and use a U-shaped pillow.
Cut your nails too short can be dangerous to your health. In this case, the soft tissues will be easily damaged when you use cutlery or wash clothes. As a result, bacteria will easily enter the damaged skin, which will lead to inflammation of the nail groove.
