“Put the pot in the bathtub and wash the flower!” is a recommendation you can sometimes hear when caring for houseplants. The question is whether a particular specimen will like this procedure. Not at all a fact. First, you need to know which plants it is contraindicated for.
Don't wash these plants
Flower growers always say that there are general recommendations, but what exactly you need to look at. Shower procedures are not recommended for:
- sansevieria;
- violets;
- zamioculcas;
- todstyanka;
- cacti;
- succulents;
- begonias.
If you have ficuses, monstera, calathea, arrowroot, then shower procedures will definitely suit you. So whether to do it or not is your choice, but it is worth listening to the advice of flower growers.
