Youth is protection against inflammation. According to dermatologist Yael Adler, one of the key aspects of preventing the aging of the body is its protection against inflammation.
“For a healthy and young body, the correct ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids is extremely important. It is optimal to consume five times less omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3 fatty acids in order to prevent inflammation in the body and, thus, contribute to prolonging its youth,” explained the expert.
In addition to omega-3 fatty acids, spices like turmeric and garlic also have anti-inflammatory effects, as do berries, broccoli, and other antioxidant-rich vegetables and fruits.
Gut condition.< /strong> If you want to stay young and healthy for a long time, you should follow a diet rich in fiber, says Yael Adler. Soluble fiber stimulates the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria, and a diverse microbiome is one of the conditions for the continuation of the body's youth. So-called “live” products that contain bacteria are also useful for strengthening the intestinal flora: for example, such as kefir, kvass or kombucha drink, natural yogurt, sauerkraut.
Rejection of milk. According to the expert, an effective prevention of aging is to avoid pro-inflammatory food. This category includes sugar, white flour, and cow's milk. The specialist explains that milk in large quantities increases the risk of acne, diabetes, and dementia. In order for the body to receive a sufficient amount of amino acids contained in milk, you should consume fermented milk products – cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt.
