Food dyes can contribute to the development of cancer

New research in the USA confirmed the negative impact of synthetic dyes on the human body. According to American oncologists, pigments for food products can contribute to the development of cancer.

Similar conclusions were reached by employees from the University of South Carolina after a series of experiments on rodents: feed colored with dyes from inorganic raw materials was added to their diet.

It turned out that substances contained in pigments can damage the DNA of animals and provoke an inflammatory process. As a result of mutation, cells begin to divide uncontrollably and a tumor appears, which can eventually acquire a malignant form.

Moderate use of such products should not provoke the development of oncology, but eating them on a regular basis is not recommended. The results of scientific work are confirmed by statistics, according to which the incidence of colorectal cancer at an early stage has increased worldwide since the early 1990s.

The lion's share of cases was caused by long-term exposure to irritating substances on the gastrointestinal tract. By 2030, the figures are expected to increase by 90%.
