In the world of modern agriculture, precision technologies are becoming an important part of successful agribusiness. “Geometr”, one of the leaders in the agro-navigation market in Ukraine, continues to improve its products in order to make these innovative solutions available to all farmers.
Vitaly, what prompted your company to update the Geotrack Lite line?
We always listen carefully to our customers. Over the past few years, we've received a lot of feedback that has helped us better understand what farmers need. For example, many noted the importance of stronger and more durable equipment, especially for working in difficult conditions.
We've taken those wishes into account and implemented changes like improved RAM mounts, high-quality tablet holders, and new tablets with more memory. We also added a new X2 GNSS receiver, which increased the accuracy of the system. The updated Geotrack Lite system, based on its quality characteristics, has entered the segment of professional equipment, while maintaining a reasonable cost.
How do you see the future of precision agriculture in Ukraine?
Unfortunately, the war that came to our country temporarily slowed down the introduction of precision farming systems. However, we firmly believe that precision agriculture will become an integral standard in the coming years.
In the conditions that have developed in Ukraine, optimizing the use of resources remains critically important and the trend towards optimization is only growing. Our systems help farmers manage their fields more precisely, reduce costs and increase yields. We will continue to develop new solutions that will make precision farming accessible to everyone.
What other innovations can you expect from Geometr in the near future?
Coming soon we plan to introduce new features and integrations for our systems, such as improved support for cloud technologies and data analytics. This will allow farmers to plan their actions more effectively and make more informed decisions.
We are also working to expand our presence in international markets so that more farmers around the world can benefit from our solutions.
