In an interview with a nutritionist, explanations were given about who can be harmful to cheese. The doctor of medical sciences noted that this product should be eaten very carefully by hypertensive patients – if this rule is not followed, cheese can harm them.
“Cheese contains a large amount of salt components. This is always fluid retention, an increase in the volume of circulating blood, and this cannot help but affect the state of the vascular wall, at the level of blood pressure,” the doctor explained.
In addition, a cheese plate is contraindicated for people who suffer on migraine, and prone to frequent headaches. It contains histamine-like components that can activate and aggravate migraine problems.
The Queen added: even if there are no contraindications, cheese should not be consumed more than four times a week in reasonable portions. It should be remembered that the product, which has certain useful properties, nevertheless contains a lot of saturated fat and salt, and is also devoid of fiber – a passion for it threatens weight gain and an increase in cholesterol in the blood. You need to eat cheese not only in moderation, but also with vegetables or greens.
