It is generally accepted that porridge is an incredibly useful product for humans. But in fact, there are such types of cereals that are absolutely pointless to eat. At least four cereals do not carry any benefit. Let's see what exactly these dishes are?
Semolina porridge
If you went to kindergarten, you remember that semolina porridge was fed almost every morning. The same applies to camps, sanatoriums, and health facilities. It is believed that such porridge is extremely useful for children. And the whole point is that it is nutritious, satisfying and high-calorie. But there is a small trick.
Recent studies prove that there is little benefit in semolina porridge. The groats from which this porridge is prepared are made from the inner layer of wheat grain. Accordingly, the porridge is devoid of valuable coarse fiber. Also, semolina is low in vitamins and minerals, and the ratio of mineral acids in semolina porridge is not balanced. But what it has a lot of is starch and carbohydrates. In other words, with frequent use of such porridge, obesity may develop. It is definitely forbidden to eat it for diabetics and those who suffer from gastrointestinal disorders.
