Our ancestors had many traditions related to Easter holidays and celebration of this great day, told Candidate of Historical Science www.rbc.ua. However, the Soviet authorities destroyed and banned many of them. The expert told how the Ukrainians celebrated Easter earlier. If they did not go to the fire, they were in the temple near the Holy Sepulcher.
