Ingredients:
- 4 apples
- 3 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Vanilla sugar if desired
Start by preparing the apples – peel them and cut them into thin slices. Beat the eggs with sugar until light foam forms, then add the flour with baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix gently until smooth.
Place the apples in a greased baking dish, pour the dough on top. Bake at 180°C for about 30-40 minutes, until the charlotte is browned and golden brown.
