Fried food increases risk of premature death

Even healthy foods, when fried, accelerate the approach of premature death, scientists from the United States say.
The less often a person eats fried food, the lower their risk of premature death, CNN reports, referring to a study by scientists. In particular, they calculated that eating one serving of fried chicken a day increases the risk of premature death by 13%, and frequent consumption of fried fish or seafood by 7%.
Scientists were convinced of the harm of fried food by evaluating the results of 18-year observations of a group of 100,000 women aged 50 to 79. Experts analyzed the effect of 122 food products on various body systems. As a result, they found that participants who ate fried food daily were more likely to be prone to heart disease than those who did not eat fried food.
At the same time, the authors of the investigation specifically emphasized that even healthy foods, including fish and seafood, contribute to mortality along with harmful ones.
“If you fry fish, it turns from a healthy food into a harmful food. “Any fried food worsens the condition of the cardiovascular system and can contribute to the development of diabetes,” the scientists stated.
