Fruits with an anti-diabetic effect are named: “fight with metabolic syndrome”

Researchers found that three stone fruits “potentially combat” metabolic syndrome – a deadly mixture of high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes.
It is well known that obesity can contribute to the development of diabetes in many cases: it is the determining cause of about 80% of cases of type 2 diabetes. Fortunately, this means that lifestyle changes that reduce obesity can reduce the effects of the condition. For example, through a healthy diet. Although there is no single type of food that can definitely prevent diabetes, research shows that focusing on certain foods can still help with its prevention.
One of the most recommended ways to put diabetes into remission is to lose weight. The British diabetes organization Diabetes UK advises to lose 15 kilograms of weight to achieve it.
Some of the ways to help achieve this are a low-carb or Mediterranean diet. But whatever diet a person chooses, three “anti-diabetic” foods can be safely included in the diet: peaches, plums and nectarines.
According to experts, these three stone fruits have substances that effectively counteract the development of metabolic syndrome – a condition in which obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes are observed. Citing a study published by Texas A&M University, experts state that these fruits are beneficial in protecting against diabetes due to their phenolic compounds.
Leader of the study, nutritionist Dr. Luis Cisneros-Cevallos stated:
“Phenolic compounds present in peaches, plums and nectarines have anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic effects in various cell lines and may reduce the oxidation of bad LDL cholesterol, which is linked to cardiovascular disease ».
