Sometimes it happens that you plant a beautiful, tall pepper seedling, but it does not grow any further, it sits like a stump. And it is even worse when it is low and begins to bloom. Why is this happening, what is the reason?
Details
One of the main reasons is that tall seedlings were planted. This means that she has outgrown and will now get sick, adapt for a long time and sit in the ground. Therefore, plant pepper seedlings no higher than 15-20 cm.
Also, pepper will not grow when the nights are cold and the day is hot. A large temperature difference is not in favor of seedlings. Therefore, do not plant it too early.
And one more – lack of nutrients. In this case, the seedlings should be urgently fed with fertilizers containing nitrogen (urea, ammonium nitrate, chicken droppings). It is he who will give growth to plants. And it is also necessary to remove the stepsons so that they do not take nutrients.
